Everything an HR team runs, in one place

Six areas of work, one record per person, and no re-typing between them. Everything is switched on during your trial.

Hiring

A role, a careers page you embed on your own site, and the pipeline against it — through to an offer and somebody's first day.

  • Careers page and a job feed aggregators can read
  • Referrals, agencies and internal openings
  • Cost per hire and time to fill, by channel
See the screens

Payroll

Salary structures that know what counts as wages, a run that shows you the variance before you pay, and the files out the other side.

  • Structures built on the section 2(y) wage definition
  • Variance against last month, before release
  • Payslips, the bank file and the returns
See the screens

Leave and attendance

Requests, balances and hours that payroll can actually use, against the work week and holiday calendar that apply to each office.

  • Holiday calendars and work weeks per State
  • Overtime, with the statutory ceiling in view
  • Year-end carry-forward and encashment

Compliance

The filings, the registers and the clock on each — worked out from your own headcount and the States you operate in.

  • Twelve months of deadlines, with the penalty on each
  • Registers an inspector can ask for
  • The policies that are not optional
See the screens

Cases

Grievances, disciplinary matters and POSH complaints, each on its own statutory clock, with confidentiality enforced on the server.

  • Every kind of case, with the deadline it carries
  • An IC that meets the composition the Act requires
  • The accident register, with both its clocks

Offboarding

Resignation to final settlement, with the statutory steps kept apart from the courtesies so the ones with a deadline are visible.

Hiring that runs itself

From an open role to an accepted offer, with the chasing done for you.

Compliance that watches itself

Worked out from your headcount and the States you operate in. India rules today.

Hiring

One pipeline, from applicant to employee

Publish a role to a careers page on your own site, work the applications in one list however they arrived, and carry the record forward when somebody joins.

  • Every channel in one pipeline. Your careers page, a job feed the aggregators read, agency submissions, employee referrals and internal applicants all land in the same list, each tagged with where it came from.
  • Nobody is left in silence. Close out a backlog of applications in one go with a job-related reason and a letter that actually goes, and see at a glance anyone who was rejected and never told.
  • What it cost, and how long it took. Cost per hire by channel, with agency fees and referral bonuses read from where they already are — so an agency and your referral scheme can be compared on the same number.

Payroll

It tells you what changed, before you pay

A run compares itself with last month and puts the differences in front of you. The ones it can explain say so; the ones it cannot are what you actually look at.

  • Wages, as the Code defines them. Basic, dearness allowance and retaining allowance are wages; house rent allowance is not. Salary structures are built on that distinction, so the provident fund base is right without anybody remembering the rule.
  • Leave and attendance already in it. Leave without pay, overtime and the days somebody actually worked arrive from the same workspace, not from a spreadsheet somebody emails across on the 28th.
  • The files come out of the run. Payslips, the bank file and the statutory returns are generated from what was released, so the numbers you filed and the numbers you paid cannot drift.
Everything in Payroll

Leave and attendance

Hours that payroll can actually use

Requests, balances and attendance against the work week and holiday calendar that apply to each office — not a single national default that is wrong for half your people.

  • The calendar that applies where they work. Holidays and the work week are set per State and per office, because a Karnataka holiday is not a Maharashtra one and payroll pays on the difference.
  • Overtime with the ceiling in view. The hours are counted, the statutory quarterly limit is shown against them, and going over is something you decide rather than discover.
  • A leave year that closes. Carry-forward, lapse and encashment run from the policy you set, so year-end is a review rather than a spreadsheet.

Compliance

You do not have to tell it what you owe

It works the list out from your own headcount and the States you have offices in, and puts a date and a consequence on each one. What does not apply to you yet is shown greyed out, with the size it starts at.

  • Twelve months of deadlines. Each with what it is for, when it is due, and what missing it costs — in rupees, because "penalties may apply" tells nobody anything.
  • Registers an inspector can ask for. Generated from the records you already keep, rather than assembled the night before.
  • A Help Centre that cites the section. Seventy articles written for the person doing the task, each naming the rule it rests on so you can check it rather than trust us.
Everything in Compliance

Registers and policy documents come with Payroll, on Growth and above.

The two nobody plans for

A complaint and a resignation both arrive without warning, and both start a clock the same day.

Cases

Complaints, on the record

Grievances, disciplinary matters and POSH complaints each carry their own statutory deadline, and the confidentiality is enforced on the server rather than asked for in a policy document.

  • An Internal Committee that meets the composition the Act requires
  • The 90-day inquiry clock, and the two that follow it
  • The accident register, with both of its reporting clocks

Easy enough that your team actually uses it

No implementation project, no consultant, no training week. Claim your address, invite your people, and start hiring the same afternoon.

  • Sensible defaults on day one. Departments, roles, leave types and pay groups arrive already filled in for an Indian team, and you edit only what doesn't fit.
  • Nobody needs a manual. Staff apply for leave, managers approve it, HR runs payroll — each person opens the app and sees only the few screens that are theirs.
  • An app for your staff. Onduty on Android shows attendance, leave and payslips, lets people fix a missed punch, and lets managers approve from anywhere. No GPS, no location tracking.
  • Nothing typed twice. A candidate's details follow them into their employee record, their leave balance and their first payslip, so joining day is a click.

Questions people ask before signing up

What happens after 7 days?
Your workspace stops letting people in until you pay, and your data stays where it is. Nothing is deleted on day 8, and there is no card on file, so nothing is charged automatically.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You give a company name, an address for your workspace, and one login. Payment is a separate step you take when you decide to keep it.
Can I change my workspace address later?
Ask us and we'll move it. It isn't a self-service setting, because the address is where your whole team signs in, and changing it signs everyone out.
How do we pay?
Through Razorpay, so cards, UPI, net banking and wallets all work. You're charged a month at a time based on your headcount.
Can we move our existing employee data in?
Yes. Send us what you have — a spreadsheet is fine — and we'll load it into your workspace. On Enterprise this is included.
Who can see our data?
Only the people you invite. Your workspace is kept separate from every other company's, each person sees only the screens their role allows, and uploaded documents open through links that expire.

Set up your workspace before your next interview

It takes about a minute, and you can throw it away if it isn't for you.

  • Every feature switched on, including the ones Starter does not include
  • Your own private workspace from the first minute
  • No card, and no sales call
