Closing a leave year: what lapses, what carries forward and what is encashed, per policy, for everybody at once.

What the screen tells you
Earned leave above the carry-forward cap is encashed at year end; sick and casual leave normally lapse (India pack section 6.3). The cap comes from each employee’s own leave policy, so two offices in different States are closed on their own terms in one pass. Preview first — the figures shown are the figures that get written.
